I have my grass cut for me

Jamie from LandArt mows my back yard last month.

I have known Jamie for over 2 years, having learned of her biz while on assignment for Juice.  I don’t remember who I was photographing at the time, but it was a local TV newswomen.  Jamie and her crew were tending to her back yard, which had some great landscaping.  We had just moved into our Drake area home and wanted to spruce up our yard and have a new retaining wall built, among other things.  She ended up building our retaining wall and has been cutting our grass ever since.  She comes every Sunday and is in and out alot faster than I would be had I was cutting the grass.  It’s a good thing that I have Jamie, because while growing up, I was never really good at “driving” the lawn mower.  I could never follow the lines for some reason.  Thus, driving my dad nuts, and I was really good at that.  My dad always reminds me of this by showing me all the gray hair he has thanks to me.
